Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Park Hill Preschool Inc. (“we”, “us”), the operating corporation of The Goddard School of Denver – Park Hill, collects, uses and protects personal information, including information collected through our text message program and this website.

Information we collect

• Contact information you give us: name, mobile and other phone numbers, e-mail and mailing address, for example on enrollment, inquiry, tour or employment forms or the text message sign-up form.
• Enrollment and child care information needed to care for your child and to meet Colorado licensing requirements.
• Text message records: your consent (date, time and the wording you agreed to), the messages we send and your replies, including STOP and HELP.
• Website information: standard server logs and, through Google Analytics, anonymous usage statistics.

How we use it

• To provide child care and run our school, including communicating with families and staff.
• To send text messages you have agreed to receive (see our SMS Terms & Conditions).
• To answer inquiries, schedule tours and manage our waitlist.
• To meet legal, licensing and record-keeping obligations.

Text messaging and mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and the provider that delivers our text messages, is permitted only to operate the program. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.

Social media: Facebook, Instagram and Google

We share moments from our classrooms on our school's Facebook page, Instagram account and Google Business Profile. We only post recognizable photos of children whose parents gave us full photo permission for both individual and group photos; other children appear only from behind, as hands or with their work. Every post is reviewed and approved by our staff before it is published.

We manage these accounts with our own internal school software (“KinderKeeper”), which connects to them through the official interfaces of Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. Through them it can see and use only what belongs to our own accounts: our posts and their statistics (for example likes, reach and views), comments and messages on our posts and pages, and reviews of our school. We use this only to publish our posts, answer families and see which posts are most helpful. We do not sell it, use it for advertising profiles or share it with anyone else.

Before photos are posted, our software checks them on our own computers, not with an outside service: it counts how many faces are visible to make sure only children with permission can be recognized. It does not recognize or identify anyone and keeps no face data of children.

Deleting your data: to have a photo, post or comment removed from our accounts, or any information our software stored about your interactions with our pages deleted, e-mail martin.meier@goddardschools.com or call 720-543-9797. We will remove it within 30 days and confirm when it is done. You can also delete your own comments and messages on Facebook, Instagram and Google at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the school (for example our school management, messaging and payment providers) under confidentiality obligations, with Goddard Franchisor LLC where required by our franchise, and with authorities when the law requires it (for example Colorado child care licensing).

Keeping it safe

We protect personal information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example Colorado rules for child care records).

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or stop text messages, by contacting us. Some records must be kept by law.

Children

This website is not directed to children, and we do not collect personal information from children through it.
